Parties, Celebrations & Private Functions
Bookings & Confirmation
- All bookings are only confirmed once the required deposit/minimum spend has been paid in full.
- Written confirmation will be issued by La Piazza management.
- Tentative bookings remain provisional and may be released if payment is not received within the required timeframe.
Minimum Spend & Deposits
- Minimum spend applies per guest: Adults (13 years and older): from R150 - R250pp (depending on function type).
- Children (under 13 years): from R100 per child.
- A deposit is required to secure all bookings and arrangements.
- Deposits are redeemable against the final bill on the day of the event.
- If the minimum spend is not met, the shortfall will be charged as a venue hire fee.
- Deposits are non-refundable in cases of late cancellation, reduced guest numbers, or no-shows.
Split Billing Policy
- If guests are paying individually, the host remains responsible for a 50% minimum spend deposit for all adults.
- Remaining spend is to be settled collectively by guests during the event.
Celebration Duration
- All functions are limited to a 3-hour seating period, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Extensions are subject to availability and management approval.
Seating & Area Allocation
- Seating is allocated based on guest numbers, availability, and operational requirements.
- Outdoor/patio areas are weather dependent.
- In adverse weather conditions, management reserves the right to relocate the function.
- Specific seating areas cannot be guaranteed unless contractually confirmed.
Kids' Parties
- Children's parties are hosted only in designated areas approved by management.
- Children must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult.
- Management reserves the right to intervene where safety or operations are affected.
Cake Policy
- A R20 cake fee applies to all functions.
- Cakes must be clearly labelled and properly packaged.
- La Piazza does not provide storage or refrigeration unless arranged in advance.
Décor & Setup
- All décor must be pre-approved by management.
- Décor may not damage furniture, fixtures, or property.
- Strictly prohibited: confetti, open flames, wall adhesives, or damaging installations.
- Setup requirements and measurements must be provided prior to the event.
Cancellations & Amendments
- All cancellations or amendments must be submitted in writing.
- Deposits may be forfeited for late cancellations, reduced guest numbers, or no-shows.
- Final guest numbers must be confirmed before the event for operational planning.
General Conditions
- La Piazza reserves the right to refuse service or terminate any event due to non-compliance or disruptive behaviour.
- Management's decision on all operational matters is final.
- Payment of the deposit confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
Private Functions (Additional Terms)
- Minimum spend: R250 per adult / R100 per child applies for private events.
- Set menus are available for groups of 20 guests or more.
- Private functions are allocated a 3-hour event duration unless otherwise agreed.
- Seating allocation depends on availability, guest numbers, and weather conditions.
- A cake fee applies to all private functions.
- Final guest numbers must be confirmed prior to the event.
Closing Statement
By proceeding with a booking and paying the required deposit, the host acknowledges and accepts all Terms & Conditions outlined above.
